Coating bases

The rounded coating base enables a continuous connection between the wall and the floor: it makes cleaning operations easier, reduces the build-up of dirt and the formation of bacteria.

RESIMIX technology wants the coating base to be realized during laying and using RESIMALTA 205 epoxy resin mortar and its primer, RESICOL 115.

Repairing joints

Expansion joints are the weakest and more easily subject to deterioration part of the flooring: their decay fosters water and dirt impregnation and in case of specific types of sectors (accumulators, galvanic and tanning sector) it also fosters filling of chemically aggressive compounds.

Furthermore, a marked decay causes jolts of trolleys with ensuring risk of accidents or loss of loading. Our operation can be done in 48 hours both on joints of new floors to prevent their decay, and on those with damaged edges. Parapet joints are removed and replaced with epoxy mortars like RESIMALTA 205 or RESIMALTA 210 which ensure structural reinforcement on both the walls of the joint; both mortars require RESICOL 115 primer. Elastic sealing is made with RESIFLEX 145, a single-component elastic poly-urethane sealer.
