Floor made with a 6 to 10 mm changeable epoxy resin mortar screed and with an anti-wear finishing with high chemical resistance.

Areas of use

Thanks to high chemical resistance finishing, STRATOMIX can be used in places with frequent contact with basic and acid agents in order to achieve an anti-acid floor:

• Training departments in the accumulator industry
• Textile industry
• Chemical, pharmaceutical and galvanic industry and tanning departments with high chemical aggression
• Food industry where chemical or aggressive agents are used.

It is used with livestock in cattle, pig-farm and horse breeding in which slopes are needed to drain sewage and ensure resistance to trampling due to animals.

Features

STRATOMIX is made of a 5-9 mm thick resin mortar screed and a colored solvent-free anti-wear coating made of resin mortar. The epoxy screed features extremely high resistance to impacts and thanks to its thickness it can correct small surface differences of the foundation and creates the minimum slopes necessary to drain liquids. STRATOMIX floors have an elastic modulus which is relatively higher than other resin coatings and must be marked by expansion joints at predetermined intervals, sealed with polyurethane elastomers like RESIFLEX 145. The finishing with RESICOLOR 421 confers a high wear and good chemical resistance against diluted acid and basic solutions to the floor; for better resistance against concentrated solutions (e.g. galvanic industry, accumulators), use RESICOLOR 421/2. STRATOMIX also has the following features:

• Antiskid finishing
• Perfectly waterproof and easy to clean
• Resistance to thermal shocks due to washing cycles
• Possibility of realization on humid bed with RESICOL 116 epoxy primer instead of RESICOL 115.
