RESICOLOR 473
SINGLE-COMPONENT ACRYL-POLYURETHANE VARNISH IN DULL OR SATIN WATERY EMULSION
Transparent, one component polyurethane paint in aqueous dispersion, for indoors and outdoors, with excellent stability when exposed to sunlight. Recommended for semi-gloss or matte finishes on epoxy floors, for dust proofing on concrete, as a consolidating agent for wood and stone; does not brighten colours or change their tone.
RESICOLOR 473 protects treated surfaces by forming an even waterproof, dull or satin film which is resistant to diluted chemical solutions of acids and bases, in addition to the action of ultraviolet rays and polluted industrial atmospheres.
The RESICOLOR 473 film has the following characteristics:
- Excellent adhesion to most dry supports which have been duly prepared;
- Good resistance to wear and tear and cuts;
- Good flexibility;
- Lightfast and resistant to UV rays.

Preparation of the support
The surface to be treated must be clean, dust-free and oil and fat stain-free. Use on floors and walls perfectly dry and cured (at least 28 days in case of concrete) prepared through sanding or smoothing.
Preparation of the product
The product is ready for use:in case of very porous supports, it can be diluted with 5-10% clean water.
Application
Apply two or more layers using brush, roller or airless spray; wait for the layer to harden before applying another one.
Notes
It cannot be applied on damp or wet surfaces and when rain is forecast for the next hours.
Application during the cold season when temperature falls below +10°C and there is high humidity (>70%) is not recommended.
Over-paintings, done after 48 hours, require prior sand-papering of the lower layer with fine abrasive paper or brite scotch.
The products starts reacting as it gets in contact with air.

Data valid at ambient temperature of +20 °C, 50% relative humidity and sufficient ventilation and may change based on the amount of product applied and environmental conditions (temperature and humidity).
Depending on product absorption, consumption varies from 80 to 150 g/m2: 1 kgof product results in 6 to 12 m2.
Available in packages of 5 kg, 10 kg and 25 kg.
If stored in its original, sealed containers in a sheltered place, the product remains unaltered for at least a year if kept in a closed and sheltered environment with a temperature between +10 and +30 Cº (keep from freezing).
